2019 Fall Gathering

This September 21st, come celebrate another season gone by at the Moon-Randolph Homestead’s 19th Annual Fall Gathering. Join us for a harvest feast, cider and beer, apple pressing, live music from Wailing Aaron Jennings and Izaak Opal, as well as dancing under the moon. Family friendly. The Fall Gathering is our largest event and fundraiser of the year, supporting our efforts exploring and celebrating Missoula’s human, ecological, and agricultural history. All proceeds benefit the Moon-Randolph Homestead. 

TICKETS:

$13 adults / $5 kids (12 & under) | Early bird ticket pricing end Monday September 16th!

$15 adults / $7 kids (12 & under) | At the gate

PARKING:

Parking for those arriving by automobile will be along Spurlock Road. Please park only on the right (south) side of the road to allow local vehicles to pass. Walk up the road to the Homestead or wait for a Missoula Parks & Recreation shuttle to pick you up. Bicycle parking at the Homestead.

 

HIKING TO THE HOMESTEAD:

We encourage those who are able to arrive via trail from Missoula’s North Hills Open Space Trails. You can access the Homestead via the Froelich, Mountain View, Sunlight, and Waterworks Hill trailheads. See this map to plan your route.

 

VOLUNTEERS:

Sign up to volunteer during the Fall Gathering via our online sign-up. Volunteers receive free admission, a free meal, and one free drink ticket! Sign up here.


MEAL:

This year's Fall Gathering feast will be made up of fresh and local hillside picnic fare from Burns Street Bistro. BSB will be cooking up pulled pork, potato salad, cornbread, fresh salad and sauces to top. Grist Baking and Milling will be providing fresh bread and the Pea's farm will harvest and provide fresh salad greens. We'll round out the meal with pies from Bernice's Bakery and community members!
