Come help us get the pig pen ready!

We’ll move fence and a gate to establish a hog run that will reduce erosion and enable the hogs to spend the summer foraging on pasture and rooting out non-native smooth brome, a grass that readily out-competes native vegetation. This project will help us achieve many goals: giving the hogs room to roam and continuing a rotational rooting restoration project that we’ll follow with native plantings.
